THE MORNING ROUTINE

Give your morning a clear next step.

BedLock keeps the idea simple: the wake-up challenge is not complete until you reach the code and scan the match.

01

Set the alarm

Choose a one-time or weekly schedule and give the alarm its own code.

02

Put the code away

Use an existing QR code, retail barcode, or generated BedLock card in a safe spot away from bed.

03

Get up and scan

When the alarm rings, scan the matching code. A different code will not complete it.

DESIGNED AROUND THE FIRST ACTION

A small setup that changes the first minute.

Choose the spot before tomorrow morning. BedLock keeps each alarm tied to its own code and gives you a printable/shareable card when you need one.

DESIGNED FOR REAL MORNINGS

Less negotiation with yourself.

There is no feed to check and no complicated routine to learn. BedLock gives your morning one physical next step, then gets out of the way.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Good to know before tomorrow morning.

Does BedLock need an account?

No. The current version works without login, subscriptions, analytics, or a backend.

What if I scan the wrong code?

The challenge stays active. Scan the BedLock code assigned to that alarm; a different code will not complete it.

Can I use an existing code?

Yes. Use an existing QR code or supported retail barcode, or generate a printable BedLock QR card from the app.

Is the challenge mandatory?

No. Apple’s system Stop/X control remains available as a safety exit. BedLock is a wake-up aid, not a tamper-proof or medical device.

Where should I put the code?

Choose a safe, visible place away from your bed, such as a hallway or bathroom. Never place it somewhere that could cause a fall.

What does BedLock access?

Alarm access is used for alarms, and camera access is requested only when you choose to scan a BedLock code. Settings, history, and code digests stay on your iPhone.
