What BedBye does

BedBye schedules alarms and lets you complete a wake-up challenge by scanning a QR code or supported retail barcode.

Information stored on your device

Alarm schedules and SHA-256 digests of the BedBye codes you assign are stored locally on your iPhone. Raw scanned contents are not retained. The digest is used to check whether a scanned code matches the code assigned to an alarm.

Camera access

BedBye asks for camera access when you choose to scan a BedBye code. The camera is used for that scan. BedBye does not upload the camera feed or use it for advertising or tracking.

Data collection and sharing

The current version does not collect personal data, create accounts, use analytics or advertising, or send app data to a server. BedBye does not sell or share app data with third parties.

Children

BedBye is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before or when those changes are released.
