BEDBYE / HELP CENTER
BedBye support
Help with your QR or barcode wake-up alarm, setup, permissions, and safe troubleshooting.
Before your first alarm
Open BedBye, allow alarm access, create an alarm, scan an existing QR code or supported barcode (or create a printable BedBye code), choose a future time, and tap Save alarm. Put the code somewhere away from your bed.
Permissions
BedBye needs alarm access to schedule and present alarms. Camera access is requested only when you choose to scan a BedBye code. You can review either permission in the iPhone Settings app.
When the alarm rings
Open BedBye, tap Scan to complete challenge, and scan the same BedBye code you assigned to that alarm. A different code will not complete the challenge. Apple’s system Stop/X control is always available as a safety exit; if you use it, BedBye can keep the challenge visible for you to complete quietly or skip for the day.
If a scan does not complete the challenge
Make sure you are scanning the exact BedBye code assigned to that alarm and that the code is well lit and fully visible in the camera frame. A wrong code leaves the challenge active. If the system alarm is still ringing, scan the matching code again or use Apple’s Stop/X safety exit.
If an alarm is missing
Open BedBye and refresh the scheduled-alarm list. Confirm that the alarm time, selected repeat days, and BedBye code are correct, and that alarm access is still enabled in Settings. If BedBye shows an alarm recovery message, open Review alarm setup before relying on it.
Safety
BedBye is a wake-up aid, not a medical device. Keep the BedBye code in a safe, accessible place and do not place it where reaching it could cause a fall or other injury. Keep another safety-critical alarm if you need one.
